Toobies™ Hand Dyed Sock yarns What in the world are Toobies™?
Toobies™ are the same idea as our Feet Sheets™, with the major difference being they are knit in the round on our circular knitting machine, rather then on our flat bed machine.
We know many out there are still saying; why flats? why tubes?
Its simple really. Dont get me wrong, I was just as leary as you at first. I just did not get it.
However now after working with them for some time... I love them.
For me they are easier to travel with. You dont have the risk of HUGE yarn knots (aka yarn puke). There is nothing worse than trying to save a hank of yarn that is in the yarn puke stage!
This is why I like the Toobies™ a little more than the Feet Sheets™ (dont get me wrong... I love both however this added benefit of the Toobies™. Instead of putting a life line in when you have to set the flat down... with the toobies you just tie a knot above where you are worrking. This prevents horrible puke yarn.
